2. Important Rules & Platform Requirements
1. No AI-Generated Music
We do not accept AI-generated tracks.
Uploading AI music may result in account review and permanent removal.
No refunds will be provided for violations.
2. Subscription Must Be Active
If you stop paying your plan, your access to The Orchard distribution is terminated.
Abusing the system (e.g., joining for 1 month only to release and cancel repeatedly) results in a permanent ban.
3. You Must Own 100% of the Rights
You can only upload music you fully own or have licensed.
If you are not sure whether you have the rights → you do NOT have them.
Unauthorized releases may lead to legal action from copyright owners and removal from the platform.
4. Fraud, Fake Streams or Manipulation = Permanent Ban
- Stream manipulation, buying fake plays/followers, or metadata fraud is strictly prohibited.
- Violations can lead to catalog removal, withheld royalties, or legal consequences from DSPs.
5. No Illegal or Prohibited Content
- Hate speech, extremist content, political propaganda, stolen samples, or unlicensed vocals/soundpacks are prohibited.
- Content violating international copyright or platform policies will be taken down.
6. You Are Responsible for Your Account Data
- Keep all login details, contracts, metadata and documents secure.
- Lost access or incomplete metadata may delay your releases.
7. Artist Verification Required
- Access is granted only after a manual review of your artist profile.
- MAD-HALL approves only artists who meet professional standards.
3. Artist Review — You Will Receive a Decision Within 30 Days
Following @madhall instagram and platforms helps us confirm your identity and verify that you are a real, active artist. Only approved artists receive access to The Orchard (Sony Music) distribution panel.
After you apply, we will review your artist profile and verify your authenticity. Within 30 days, you will receive approval or rejection.
We check:
your music platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube…)
your social media presence
your activity, originality and professionalism
